Our curriculum is a child centered curriculum developed by the owner. Our curriculum features weekly themes and hands on projects that includes cooking! The photo to the right illustrates what our week of fun learning entails. Each week we review a theme usually centered around a topic that encourages learning throughout many subjects. For example, in the photo to the right our theme of the week was "Under the Sea". During this week the children assisted in making a back drop of a sea and creatures to live in the sea. In addition our science area showcased many sea creature photos for the children to view. During this week we also made "Under the Sea" jello for our cooking project. Although themes are fun, they do not embrace the entire circle of basic skill learning for some children. For this reason and others we have a weekly letter, number, shape and color that we focus on for younger children. For older children we work on increasing vocabulary, learning important math skills and beginning reading amongst other fundamental skills.
